Konnect Dots connects people looking for a professional — a choreographer, anchor, makeup artist, yoga trainer and so on — with professionals who list their work here. This page explains what we collect when you use the site, why, who else sees it, and what you can ask us to do about it.
Konnect Dots is an independent service operated from India, running konnectdots.in. It is not yet incorporated as a company; when that changes, the registered name and address will appear here.
For anything in this policy, including a request to see or delete your data, contact [email protected] or +91 93130 08216. Being small does not reduce what we owe you under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023, and we are not treating it as if it does.
The enquiry forms ask for your name and an email address or phone number, and optionally your notes, event type and event date. We need this to pass the enquiry on — it is the entire purpose of the form. We store it so the professional can reply and so we can follow up if something goes wrong.
If you accept the consent banner, we record which pages you visit, how long you actively spend on each, and how far down you scroll. This is stored against a random identifier in a cookie, which identifies a browser rather than a person. We use it to understand which parts of the site are useful. If you decline, none of this is recorded and no identifier is created.
Some collection happens on every visit, independently of the banner, because the site could not be run safely without it.
We do not use any of this to build a profile of you, and it is never combined with the analytics that the banner does control unless you have accepted.
We collect what your public profile needs: name, contact details, city, profession, description, pricing, photos and videos, and any social or website links you add. This is published on your profile page, which is meant to be found in search results. Your login activity is recorded so we can spot unauthorised access to your account.
Several of these are outside India, so your data may be processed abroad. We may also disclose data where the law requires it.
Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 you can ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, and withdraw consent you previously gave. To withdraw analytics consent without contacting us, use the link on the cookie policy page.

The site is not intended for children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has sent us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
If this policy changes materially we will update the date at the top. Please check back occasionally.
